Wow!! Although there is still snow in my front yard, I know Spring is rapidly approaching. To me, Spring represents NEW LIFE, NEW BEGINNINGS, and NEW GROWTH..it means the old is dead and gone, and new things are "springing" forward. Well, as Entertaining with Elegance emerges into what it is supposed to be, I am in awe of the "gifts" that keep coming it's way. Just as a new baby receives gifts from friends and family, this "baby" is getting ready to receive some new gifts! I was so excited a couple of weeks ago when my mom called and asked if I could use an "antique" punch bowl for my events. Of course, I DID not hesitate to accept her kind offer. Last night I received a phone call about what I thought was a specific purpose, but as usual, much to my surprise, turned out to be about much more...with God, it is NEVER about one thing!!! The short of it........I have been offered, FREE OF CHARGE......a Chocolate fountain, a Punch Fountain, Chafing Dishes, and possibly several other pieces for "EE"......BUT GOD!!! Who else knows the things we need, even we don't? Who else will SET YOU UP, so you can receive fully all that He wants to give? Wow..................due to this persons' kindness, we will be able to offer even more services than we thought......
Encouragement.....Even when we think we have it all figured out, or are willing to settle for "just enough" to get started.....God has so much more in store for us...Dream BIG, HOPE BIG, BELIEVE BIG, SEE BIG....there is NOTHING He cannot do, and WILL NOT do for you.
Passing His Favor your way,
a VERY HAPPY LAURA!

Amazing Favor
It is absolutely amazing the amount of favor that followed me this past Friday! In visiting some local businesses to hand out my new Entertaining with Elegance business cards, the neatest thing happened to me....I dropped by Wilson Fabrics in Ooltewah, to do a little bit of networking. All I did was ask if they had a section of remnant fabrics (for sale, or so I thought). MUCH to my suprise, the owner walked to the store room, only to return with an arm load of fabrics that she was going to just throw away! Wow! I had no idea the magnitude of what I had received until I returned home and started going through them. Each one a different texture, or hue.
Kind of like the fabric of our lives, each piece of material had different patterns, all woven together to fulfill one common purpose. Just as these pieces will not go to waste, it is my prayer that each of us get in on what purpose or destiny God has for us, that we may be sewn together to be used to create beautiful outcomes.
Blessings...........
